In this online class you will learn how to identify and treat diseases of the hive:

• Bacterial
• Fungal 
• Viral
• Microsporidian

Participants will be able to identify parasites of the honey bee and their overall effect on hive health, and determine integrated pest management (IPM) strategies and treatment for Varroa and Tracheal mites.

Participants will examine the impact of pests and predators on a honey bee hive and discuss IPM strategies to ensure hive health.

By the end of this online class beekeepers will able to identify symptoms of diseases, parasites, pests and preditors and employ effective IPM for honey bee health.
