Classes Overview

Come learn with experts. We have classes for all experience levels and beekeeping goals. Classes are open to the public, anyone can register! There are remote, in-person, and hybrid options available year-round. Most classes are ~3hrs but some in-person ones can be longer.

  • We offer core classes and guest lectures. Core classes in the CAMBP curriculum complement the study guide and help galvanize learning. See the Class Planning Guide for required and recommended classes at each certification level. Guest lectures are talks on specific topics and are available at no cost for everyone.
  • Class Passes
  • What are class passes? Class passes provide free access to remote classes only and correspond to the four levels of the certification program.

    How do I get a class pass? As a current candidate or certificant in good standing in our certification program you can register for remote (online) classes specific to your current and previous level.

    What classes do I get access to? Class pass holders have access to remote classes only at their current and previous level. Classes are categorized by certification level and denoted by course number. See the table for details:

    For example, John Doe just signed up for the Apprentice Level. They can login to their member portal and register for all remote classes with the prefix HBAL and AL at no cost and can view previous recordings of remote HBAL and AL classes in the video library.

    How do I use a class pass? They are automatically applied to your account when you meet the criteria. When you register for a remote class the payment step is bypassed. The pricing for in-person classes varies depending on location and topic.
